The world’s first autofocus SLR with integrated AF motor paired with a sharp standard zoom.
The Minolta 7000, also known as the Maxxum 7000 or Alpha 7000 depending on the market, was a groundbreaking 35mm SLR introduced in 1985. It was the first SLR camera with a fully integrated autofocus motor and electronics, setting the standard for modern autofocus systems. The camera features full program, aperture-priority, shutter-priority, and manual exposure modes, as well as DX-coded ISO reading and an LCD display.
It comes paired with the Minolta AF Zoom 3570mm f/4 (SN: 1091578), a compact and sharp standard zoom lens with a constant f/4 aperture. This lens delivers excellent performance for everyday photography, from wide-angle to short telephoto.
