It can accommodate various accessories such as a microphone, a light, or a monitor among others. Also, even when mounted, the cage ensures easy access to controls and ports of the camera.
This cage, constructed from sturdy aluminum material, also comes with unique slots on its sides for attaching a camera strap. You have the option to use it as a wrist or neck strap for added convenience.
Your camera can be effortlessly mounted onto the cage with the help of a 1/4 “-20 screw at the base. You can also secure your camera from rotation with the provided M2.5 screws on each side. The rubber padding on the base likewise prevents rotation and shields the camera from possible scratches.
The cage offers multiple 1/4 “-20 and 3/8” -16 accessory screw threads, along with 3/8 “-16 ARRI-style anti-twist mounts. In addition, an integrated shoe mount and a left-side NATO rail further extend attachment options for accessories.
