Sandisk ImageMate 8 in 1 Card Reader

If you’re goofing around with old digital cameras, you may find that you need a card reader for unusual formats like xD and SmartMedia. Not easy to find! Fortunately, this Sandisk ImageMate 8 in 1 can read Smartmedia, xD, Compact Flash Type I and II, SD, MMC, Memory Stick, and Memory Stick Pro cards. The vertical stand has a split up the front which does not affect function; the card reader itself can be popped out and connected via a common Mini USB cable (sold separately.) This probably shouldn’t be your reader of choice if you’re shooting modern high-resolution cameras- the transfer speed isn’t great- but when you need to read some weird old card, you’ll be glad you have it.
