Kodak Medalist II

Description

The Kodak Medalist II is a classic medium format camera with a retractable 100mm f3.5 Ektar lens and a trick two-way rear door for film loading. This Medalist is in good condition overall, with a clear lens, smooth focusing, and good shutter speeds; it has a few cosmetic flaws (it is not “mint”) but looks pretty nice all the same- no dents, scrapes, or missing leather. Important wrinkle: the Medalist is designed for 620 rollfilm and will not work with 120 film out of the box. You will need to respool 120 film onto a 620 spool yourself, or buy specially respooled 620 from… somewhere. This is not a camera that you can casually throw a roll into, but if you don’t mid the extra work, it’s a pretty cool machine to shoot with (and the results are pretty great).
