Description
The Nikon Coolpix SQ is a very weird and cool digital camera from an era when digital cameras were weird and cool. It’s a little square about 9cm across, with a rotating lens that can be flipped to shoot straight ahead, laid flat for waist-level shooting, or straight back, as a selfie camera. Honestly this design is kind of great and Nikon should probablystill be making these, because it’s a lot more fun than a modern point-and-shoot and it’s about time things were fun again. The SQ was made in 2003, which holy moleyis almost 20 years ago, so specs aren’t going to overwhelm: the sensor is 3mp, the screen is 1.5″, and it records to Compact Flash cards. Image quality is shockingly decent, actually. Cosmetic condition is excellent, with one small dent in the metal housing. It includes a docking station and an original Nikon 16mb CF card.
