This cable connects a Nikon camera with a 10-pin remote connector (like the D2/3/4/5/6 series and the D700) to a Pocketwizard for remote triggering- but it also has a switchable “pre-release” feature, which essentially keeps the camera awake by spoofing a half-pressed shutter.
