All right, picture-lookers, let’s get one thing straight: despite what it looks like in the picture, thisis a Yashica 24, not a Yashica-Mat 124G. It’s been repaired at some point in its existence, and the nameplate has been replaced with one from a Yashica-Mat 124, despite the fact that this is a Yashica 24. What’s a Yashica 24? Glad you asked. It’s a TLR designed to take 220 film only- a format that is more or less nonexistent. But you can still run 120 film through this camera! You’ll just need to remember that the frame counter goes past 12 exposures and stop taking pictures. Yes, there’s a big sticker inside thats says “FOR 220 FILM ONLY” but then there’s also a big ticker that says “120 FILM START MARK” so . We’ve tested it with 120, and all is well. Light meter does not work, but the shutter speeds are good, the 80mm f3.5 Yashinon is clean, and the viewfinder is clear. Includes original leather case.
