The Kase Stackable ND Master Kit is an essential tool for videographers, featuring a unique stackable ND filter holder alongside four color-coded ND filters. The kit includes:

• ND2 filter (0.3, 1 stop, black)
• ND4 filter (0.6, 2 stops, purple)
• ND8 filter (0.9, 3 stops, blue)
• ND64 filter (1.8, 6 stops, gold)

This versatile kit enables users to apply filters individually or combine them to achieve greater stop reductions. As the name implies, all components are ND filters, suitable for lenses with a maximum diameter of 82 mm.

One standout feature is the ability to stack up to three filters at once within the holder, allowing precise control over light reduction, which is beneficial for accurately setting camera values. Unlike variable ND filters, these stackable options offer superior optical quality.

Each filter is equipped with a colored handle, facilitating quick identification and selection. Constructed from lightweight aluminum, the filters are ideal for video applications where portability and usability are critical. An integrated locking mechanism in the holder ensures that filters remain secure and prevents accidental drops.

This kit is tailored primarily for video use but is also immensely useful for photographers. It excels in crafting long-exposure effects, such as the smooth, flowing appearance of water or managing intense lighting situations.

The kit is compatible with wide-angle lenses due to its filter diameter. Moreover, users can attach a 95 mm circular magnetic Kase Revolution CPL filter to the front of the holder (sold separately).

The magnetic filter holder conveniently attaches to the included 82 mm Armour adapter ring, and traditional screw-in adapter rings are provided for lens sizes of 67 mm, 72 mm, and 77 mm. The stackable filters must be positioned horizontally in the holder to prevent shifting. A locking feature on the rear of the holder allows for easy insertion and removal of filters; they can only be fully removed when the lock is disengaged.
