It has an aperture with 9 blades, bringing an excellent representation of blur outside the focal plane, an effect greatly appreciated in portrait photography.

The luminosity of this lens is crafted meticulously for creative visionaries who ply their craft in the great outdoors or in a studio setting. The lens’ optical design incorporates nine elements within seven groups, including one Hybrid Aspheric lens. The lens parts have been treated with Samyang’s Ultra Multi Coating to reduce ghosting and lens flare significantly.

Due to the large size of the aperture, the lens can delicately render both the foreground and the background with gratifying bokeh effect.
