The AusJena DDR 50mm f2.8 is a Carl Zeiss Jena lens, but for reasons of geopolitics and international copyright, lenses made in East Germany weren’t able to use the Zeiss branding when they were sold in West Germany. This lens isa classic Tessar design lens for M42 mount. Slightly draggy focus,good diaphragm. Optics are free of haze or fungus, with some internal dust. Inexcellent condition, with minor cosmetic wear.
