Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58mm f2

The original Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58mm f2 is the lens that the Soviet Helios lenses copied: a fast standard lens with a nice classic rendering, except from the original factories. Almost wrote that this was from the other side of the Iron Curtain, but no, this was made during GDR times.Anyway, cosmetic condition is good, with some finish wear. The front element has some coating wear, which is not ideal, but the interior is clean. Focusing is smooth; diaphragm control is a touch stiff, but usable. 10-blade diaphragm, by the way. Not perfect, but a neat lens.
