The Cokin Gradual ND Kit U3HO-25 allows photographers to balance light intensity within a photo effectively, serving as a powerful tool especially when the lighting conditions are challenging and beyond control. A prime example of such a scene would be a landscape with harsh contrast. In such situations, the background tends to lose its detail and sharpness due to intense sunlight, while the foreground appears too dark, losing its details. This gradient filter neutralizes the differences in light intensity, providing a balanced illumination to your photos.

The kit includes Z121S, Z121M, and Z121L filters. Specifically, the Z121L filter offers a soft gradient, compensating for 1 stop of exposure. Meanwhile, the Z121M provides the same gradient, but compensates for 2 stops of exposure. The Z121S filter offers a three-quarters gray gradient and compensates for 3 stops of exposure. A word of caution: an adapter ring, necessary to attach the filter holder to your lens, is not included with this kit as a standard accessory.
