Leitz Dual Range Summicron 50mm f2

Description

The Dual Range Summicron is a unique standard lens that works just like your average 50mm Summicron, with focusing down to about 1m. BUT! slide on the included macro “goggles,” and you’ll get close focusing to 50cm, with rangefinder coupling. In good cosmetic condition, with light finish wear; focusing is smooth, and diaphragm moves well. The optics are clear in general, with very light haze and a touch of separation at the edge of a rearward element group, neither of which should materially affect imaging.

Please note: the design of this lens means that compatibility may be limited with some later M mount cameras, including digital cameras. We recommend using this only on classic unmetered M mount cameras, like the M2/3/4, or on an adapter. Use on other M bodies is at your own risk.
