TheLeitz Hektor 13.5cm f4.5 lens might not be the highest-profile lens in the Leica catalogue, but it’s still a pretty decent short telephoto lens. This is a post-war, black-paint lens made in 1946, and it’s in roughcosmetic condition: there’s brassing, paint wear, and green surface corrosion. The green is easy enough to remove, but it kind of looks cool, so we’ve left it on. Optics are pretty decent for a lens of this age, with minor coating wear and light cleaning marks- nothing dramatic. Focusing and diaphragm are good. Clearly not new, but fully functional.
