Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED

Description

The Nikon Coolscan 5000 ED is a high quality film scanner for 35mm film. Unlike a flatbed scanner, a Coolscan scans the film directly- not through glass- for maximum detail. Scan resolution is up to 4000dpi. Fully tested, this scanner includes the SA-21 slide adapter, MA-21 negative strip feeder, SF-200 bulk film feeder, USB cable and power cord. Please note that the SF-200 is a notoriously jam-prone accessory which works better with some slide mounts than others, and should still be supervised while operating. Nikon does have software available to download for this scanner, but compatibility is spotty with newer OS versions; we recommend Vuescan or Silverfast software (not included).
