Description
The No. 1A Folding Pocket Kodak is a beautiful folding camera designed to use 116 rollfilm. You can’t just up andbuy 116 rollfilm, so don’t expect to run out there and use this camera willy-nilly. But if you’re into respooling, or you’re thinking of converting to a plate camera, you might want to consider this one. It looks great, either open or closed: the leather covering is in excellent condition, the bellows are supple, and the lightly domed lens cover gives this camera a distinctive appearance. Open the film chamber and you’ll notice that the main body is made out of wood, including the delicate film guides- it’sold-world stuff, which makes sense, since this camera dates to somewhere between 1912 and 1915. That’s more than 100 years ago, if you’re counting. Includes its original leather carrying case, which is in slightly more worn condition, but again, 100 years old.
