The SMC Pentax-M 135mm f3.5 is adequate and then some. It renders bokeh beautifully, has clean transitions from in focus to out of focus, good center sharpness wide open, great color rendition, and good contrast. Overall, not a bad performer. Then there’s the build quality and package size. This lens is LIGHT, small, and even has a built in metal hood that extends out when needed. This is a perfect travel lens, or just a walkaround short tele.
