The Praktica super TL 1000 is a solid M42-mount 35mm SLR manufactured by Pentacon in East Germany during the late 1970s. Known for its straightforward design and mechanical reliability, it offers full manual control, a built-in TTL light meter (through-the-lens), and a vertical metal-blade shutter that works without batteries batteries are only needed for the meter.
This version comes with the Domiplan 50mm f/2.8 Automatic lens (SN: 10385895), a compact three-element lens that’s lightweight and capable of producing soft vintage rendering, especially wide open. A great starter kit for analog photographers or collectors of Eastern Bloc gear.

Condition
Used Good condition
Camera and lens are in good working order. Shutter fires on all speeds. Light meter responds to light (battery not included). Lens (SN: 10385895) has clean glass with no fungus or haze. Focus is smooth; aperture blades are oil-free and responsive. Viewfinder is reasonably clean. Some signs of use on the body, but no major damage.
