TheRank Taylor Hobson Monital 24-180mm f3.7 is a zoom lens for C mount cameras (or cameras with C-mount adapters). Glass is free of hazing or fungus, with a light touch of delamination at the edge of a front-mid group element. Good function, light cosmetic wear. The barrel has been tapped along its central portion, possibly for attachment to some kind of support; there is no effect on function, only cosmetics. Apertures are not marked, but like the focus and zoom rings, theaperture ring is geared. Close focusing is not exceptional (about 2.1m) but coverage is surprisingly good: it almost covers APS-C.
