Rodenstock Grandagon 115mm f6.8 MC

Description

The Rodenstock Grandagon 115mm f6.8 MC is a wide angle lens for 5×7 cameras. Light path is clear, with only light dust, but this lens has some edge-paint artifacts in the rear group, similar to (but not identical to) Schneideritis. While these artifacts refract onto the imaging surfaces when inspected visually, they are on the exterior rim of the rear element, perpendicular to the lens surface, and do not affect imaging because they’re not in the light path. Nevertheless, worth noting! Mounted in an accurate Copal 1 shutter.
