Description
“Luxury” point and shoot cameras are a mixed bag, but the Rollei QZ 35W feels like they took the assignment seriously, with not only a very sturdy metal body shell butalso a metalinside, including nicely finished film rails. Aside from slightly goofy features like pop-up focusing and shutter speed rings, build quality is whatyou’d expect from a “real” Rollei: the lens barrel has zero play, the aperture stops feel positive, the bottom of the door hinge pin is polished, the lens supportis an old-school threaded pin. It’s no lightweight, but it’s a truly unique 35mm point & shoot. Condition is excellent overall, with only very minor cosmeticwear; of note, the in-viewfinder LCD display is somewhat degraded, but the top panel LCD is working well and provides the same information. Includesbatteries and strap.
