The Rycote Super Blimp Kit NTG is an all-inclusive shield and shock mount system specifically designed for RODE NTG series microphones as well as comparable shotgun microphones. This kit is equipped with unique Lyre technology and a professional-grade blimp to provide optimal protection against shocks, vibrations, and wind noise while ensuring acoustic transparency.
Included in the package is a windjammer, designed to fit perfectly over the blimp and offer protection against the intrusive noise generated by windy conditions. The blimp houses a Rycote 90 Shortie XLR connector which features an RF shield, thereby preventing the contamination of the audio tracks via radio interference. Aiding versatile microphone usage, the kit comes with a boom adapter and a pistol grip handle.
