Slik S101 System Tripod

Description

The Slik S101 System Tripod is a short, slightly unusual tripod. The legs have no stops- they hold by friction- and can be spread out flat enough to position the mounting plate only 8cm off the ground. Broad, gimbaled feet keep good contact at any angle, and you can add tension at each leg with a hex key (included). Without the single extension, the tripods full height is approximately 30cm; with the legs extended, about 50cm. The top plate has a 1/4 thread; you can mount most smaller heads, either with or without a 3/8 bushing (not included) or, in a pinch, you can mount a camera directly. This is not the worlds most ideal everyday tripod, but it could definitely come in handy. Notable cosmetic surface marks- its been around- but excellent function.
