The SmallRig 2851 Focus Motor Rod Mount is specifically engineered to attach the DJI RS 2 focus motor to your gimbal, particularly when working with lenses that are positioned higher than what standard focus rod mounts can accommodate. This mount features an elevated design that surpasses the conventional focus rod setup and is intended to be used in conjunction with the optional SmallRig 3031 Quick Release Plate.
This versatile component can slide into a quick-release plate and offers an adjustable range of 50 millimeters both forward and backward. Furthermore, it is compatible with the original DJI focus rod mount, allowing for simultaneous attachment of the follow focus and zoom mechanisms. With the included 15-12mm rod clamp adapter, the mount accommodates focus motors designed for both 12mm and 15mm rods.
Additionally, the rod mount can be shifted left or right within an impressive range of 16 millimeters, ensuring compatibility with lenses of various diameters.
