Introducing the latest addition to the SmallRig’s Portable COB LED Video Light Ecosystem, the SmallRig RC 100B COB LED Video Light (Mobile Version) 4894. Its highly-efficient cooling system and stylish cubic design is a proprietary technology developed in-house by SmallRig. This handy RC 100B COB LED video light is just one-third the size of a conventional COB LED video light. Weighing merely 700g, it’s almost the size of the RED KOMODO, making it a breeze to store and transport, thus ideal for photography and video content creation so you can keep your creativity flowing anywhere, anytime.

The light offers a variety of both wired and wireless power supply options. Whether it’s V-mount batteries or NP-F970 batteries for wireless power supply, or charging via a USB-C port using battery grip handles, PD fast charging power bank, charging plug or AC to DC power supply adapter, the choice is yours. You won’t miss a thing with a single 98Wh V-mount battery delivering around a full hour of power, enabling continuous shooting with fast battery changes.

With the ability to control the light wirelessly or manually, managing light has never been more efficient. Wireless light control can be achieved through the SmallGoGo application. It’s also compatible with DMX wired manual controls with a separately sold DMX adapter. Manual adjustments can also be made via a 1.3-inch LCD screen, supplemented by two separate buttons on the side of the device.

The chip-on-board light source has a patented high Color Rendering Index (CRI) for exceptional lighting and color accuracy, offering professional color performance, accurate calibration, and accurate representation of natural daylight. With a CRI of 97+, TLCI of 98+, SSI (3200K) of 91, and TM-30 (3200K) Rf/Rg of 97/102, you can be confident of unmatched efficiency. On top of that, the bare light source delivers 4,610 Lux illumination at 5600K at a 1m distance and can get amplified to 20,100 Lux with the 45 mini hyperreflector.

A special highlight of this light is its premium housing, crafted from V-0 flame retardant PC+ABS and fortified with metal components at the base. This design choice has succeeded in reducing the weight by 30% compared to full aluminum alloy casings, without compromising its durability for frequent use.

The light features built-in adjustments for cool and warm light, special effects adjustments, and preset modes, allowing a simulation of 2700K-6500K sunlight with 12 common special effects. It also securely stores in memory 4 sets of preset parameters for quick access and application of specific lighting settings.
