Did you know that Sears used to sell cameras? Or, for the younger crowd, did you know that Sears? Yes, the Tower brand was the Sears department store’s camera house brand, sourced from manufacturers around the world. This Tower Model 7 is a Bilora camera, from Germany, where it was known as the Blitz Box. Bilora Blitz Box! Amazing. It may have lost its cool name on the way over to North America, but this is still a nice little metal box camera that shoots 6x9cm images on standard 120 rollfilm. It’s missing its top handle, but is otherwise quite nice.
