This is a modern 40mm f2 lens designed to look like an older Nikon pre-AI lens- it even has the little coupling ears- but with full AI compatibility and CPU contacts. Also, 40mm is a really nice focal length to use. Excellent cosmetic condition, smooth focusing, clean glass- this lens is in near-new condition.
