The Yashica Electro 35 GS, serial number 126975, is a high-quality 35mm rangefinder camera produced by Yashica in the early 1970s. It features a fast Yashinon-DX 45mm f/1.7 lens and aperture-priority automatic exposure, making it ideal for available-light and street photography. The GS is similar to the GSN model but lacks the hot shoe flash connectionflash sync is via the PC socket only.
The GS features gold-plated internal electrical contacts for improved reliability, and its electronic leaf shutter operates nearly silently.
