Description
Yashica MG-1 (SN: 51200360) + Yashinon 45mm f/2.8
A simple and reliable 1970s rangefinder with a sharp fixed lens.
The Yashica MG-1 is a 35mm rangefinder camera introduced in the early 1970s, designed for ease of use with a focus on automatic exposure. It features aperture-priority auto exposure and a bright viewfinder with parallax-corrected frame lines. The camera uses a built-in CdS light meter, and a red/amber warning light in the viewfinder helps guide exposure.
The built-in Yashinon 45mm f/2.8 lens offers sharp results with classic rendering and smooth bokeh, making it ideal for casual shooting, travel, and street photography. This fully mechanical rangefinder also works without batteries only the meter requires power.
