Description
The Zeiss Ikon Box Tengor 56/2 is a neat little box camera that shoots 6x9cm images on 120 rollfilm. The lens is a Goerz Frontar Achromat triplet, which is a real lens, not the usual single-element meniscus you’d find on most box cameras; its focus can be adjusted with a lever that moves a pair of diopters into position behind the rear element. F stops are adjustable, too, from f9 to f16. The shutter speed is fixed (at about 1/60s) but there’s a Bulb setting (indicated here by T) for long exposures. And a cable release socket, of course. And a PC flash sync connector! As far as box cameras go, this thing is fully loaded. It’s in excellent condition, with minor cosmetic wear, and fully functional.
